I look forward to reading Stuart’s new book, The Last Leaf. Stuart is a true blue historian who brings history to life and I am happy to see that he was able to overcome all the obstacles and hurdles thrown his way. Promotheus publishers have a winner in Stuart Lutz. I am especially proud of his achievements. I am always so when I see the younger generation succeed. Reading his blog I was especially touched by the Coolidge quote. It’s an emotional and powerful statement thru and thru. Wishing you more siuccess. I plan on purchasing numerous copies.

Thanks for a very inspiring story! I will be buying more than once copy of this fascinating book, and I wish Stuart the best with it. I guess “pathetic” sums of the state of publishing now–sheesh, we’ve become a nation of scared rabbits!

I have known Stuart for a long time and have known about his project for a number of years. I had a near tear in my eye on reading his blog piece for, yes, persistence is everything. I graduated from New York University where the motto was (English translation from the Latin) “persevere and excel”. Stuart has done just that. Way to go, Stuart – your colleagues are all very proud of you – well, this one at least! :>)
